Early labor and fetal movement?

When you were in early labor did your baby move less? I went to get checked earlier and they said I'm 4 cm, 90% effaced, and since I've had contractions all night and day they said early labor. I'm hoping a walk will get things moving tonight, but my baby hasn't really moved as much as usual. He still is moving, and they checked his heartbeat earlier, but I just want to know if it's normal? I'm also GBS positive so I'm hoping the exam didn't bring any bacteria to him. Oh and if you were in early labor for a long time what got things really moving if walking didn't work?

my partner played with my nipples.
then i took my sleeping tablets and 5 minutes later the pain was 50 times worse and i had to get admitted.
I had been in labour for 19 hours already.

I was in early labor for a few days. Sex helped SO MUCH.

  With my second i had irregular contractions all day. After having sex that night i was in the hospital within an hour or two. It really sped everything up lol.

I'm surprised they didnt keep you seeing that you are GBS..they like you on the meds about 8hrs b4 birth...have it myself...with my 2nd and 3rd and now having twins..not too much fun..i am 1cm and 50% for the last 3 weeks..but i can go into labor anytime..they are giving me the steroid shot for the babies lungs at my next appointment if i make it that far.. GL

Dumb question but, how do you stimulate your nipples??? lol. ugh sex sounds nice but I hurt, idk if I can do it :/

Me to, but they aren't worried until my water breaks I guess. That's why I went in because my underwear was all soaked and I thought it ruptured but I guess it was just discharge.

I'm only 30 weeks and 2 days..they are hoping i make is to 32 week which is nov. 3rd.. they'd rather have me to 34 but nothing is guarenteed..I'd never wish twins on anyone I can barely walk or get up to pee 4 that matter..lol

the sack keeps him protected from GB. They will give you anti biotics for it when you get to the hospital. As long as he's moving a bit he's fine. His lack of movement doesn't mean you're actually going into labor any time soon. babies slow down the last week of pregnancy.

I dont think I felt him move too much while in early labor or having contractions

I wanted to try sex to get things moving but yesterday the dr could feel his head and said he's very low so the thought of sex and his head being so low doesn't mix well with me lol

I was in labor for like 17hrs but my active labor was only 1hr... Now that I reflect, I only felt LO move very little while I was in labor.

it got things going for me! lol

Actually my baby moved in early labour and hid the signs of the contractions i was having. I went to my doctors for my usualy check up at 40weeks on the monitor they saw that bubs would actually get annoyed at the tightenings and i would feel kicks. The nurses didnt believe me until they watched it and saw when the baby kicked. I laugh at teh fact i tell people that teh early stages of my labour were was what they called a silent labour
