Eh, neither. If a kid wants to support something, they should be able to. We don't know by looking at them if they understand the issues. My 7 year old would be out there supporting gay rights. What's to understand? She just knows her grandma should be able to marry her Mimi.

Forcing them would be bad parenting though.

While I'd at least rather see children at a rally for love or health or whatever rather than one of hatred and intolerance, it really disturbs me seeing them at any kind of protest. Leave the adult smurf to the adults.

And I can't say if it is indoctrination because there's no way to know if they're allowed to question why they're doing it.
