things are looking up

things have been pretty bad between my baby daddy and i but recently he has been begging me to work things out with him. he usually does this but then never changes. however this time he really is making an effort to find a better job. he even called a counselor and set up an appointment for us to do counseling. he told me he wants to be part of the baby's life all the way through. today i let him go to my 12 week appointment and we got to hear the heart beat he teared up and told me that he couldnt believe he almost gave all of this up. it really has touched me im hoping he really has changed this time. it would make everything so much easier.

That is awesome! Just try not to put to much hope into him just in case he goes back down the path he was on before. I hope the best for you & your little family. (:

I hope he changes, girl. For you & your LO. It seems like he is making an effort & that is a big step. Have faith in him, but just don't get your hopes up just in case.

What everyone else said. Give him the oppurtunity to be there, but don't rely too much on him until he proves himself. That will take time, so you know he's not just faking it and the changes are going to last. Were you having problems before the pregnancy or after you found out?
