Stupid ass depo shot.

I am on the depo shot and missed my period, I've had a little spotting, but nothing major. I really didn't think much about it, but then things started getting to me. I started thinking about how I've never missed a period on depo before. I had sex right after I stopped my period, on my last cycle, and got the depo shot soon after. There was only a 3 day window there where I could've gotten pregnant. I took a test today, the control line was dark, but it looked kind of broken.. If that makes sense. The other line was EXTREMELY faint, but I could see it. After looking at the package, I noticed that the test expired in June. I am definitely going to take another test soon. Here's my questions, have any of you gotten pregnant on the depo shot? I'm not really sure the percentage of women that ovulate right after their period, or if any woman even does that. I'm chalking the faint line up to the test being expired, but I still need someone to settle my mind. If I'm pregnant, there's no way I can keep it. I can't help but freak out just a little. I had a scare a few months back, and got on the shot so I wouldn't have to go through that again, but I am.

Even though the test is expired from june of this year i presume? It will most likely still be accurate. Just because it has an expiration date, alot of times they will still work afterwards... I would wait a few days and take a good test to see if the result is the same...

Yeah, it was from this year. I didn't know if it would be accurate or not, since the control line was all messed up looking.. It wasn't solid like it should be, that's why I was wondering. I am definitely hoping that I'm not pregnant. I'm only 8 months PP. =\

Oh if the control line is all messed up I wouldn't trust it... was the test like smashed or something?? Or the line was bled?

Lol. No, the test wasn't smashed, it just didn't look solid, I wish I hadn't gotten rid of it already, or I would have put up a pic. I'm dumb though, and didn't think about it lol. Like I said, idk if it's just because it expired or what.. Or maybe it was a faulty test to begin with.. or maybe I'm pregnant lmfao.

I would get another test. And smurfing depo is the devil man... I thought for a month I was pregnant. Testing everyother day.. it smurfing pissed me the smurf off.

I'm going to get another one. I hate this stupid shot. I have never missed a period any other time I've been on it, and now BAM no smurfing period. My hormones are all wonky, I'm moody, you're right. Depo=   lol

I was on the depo for 1 1/2 yrs.. and it was alright till i went to get off of it and i was on my period for 2 STRAIGHT MONTHS... I thought satan had taken up residence in my vagina... seriously. And i went to the doctor and i was like bleeding so bad, and he checked me and was like, oh everything seems like normal, but i was like that for 2 months! WTF??? Never again...

OMG. I would LOVE to know how in the hell that's normal. I think I would worry myself to death if I bled for two months.

Oh my doctor thinks oh ok... 3 months bleeding.. lets put her son some other birthcontrol. Well that one gave me migrines. And guess what its going on a year of bleeding with only about a month of not bleeding...

No.. Not yet.. All of them want to put me on other birth control but my body doesnt like birth control.
