Quoting Mommy of a giggler!:" My great grandmother died last night. She was 95. I knew it was going to happen. I knew she was suffering ... [snip!] ... they don't like, but who hasn't ever stolen from Gran). She was cleaning it out WHILE the pastor was there to pray. Yeah......"
Now I'm a blubbering mess.
I am so, so sorry. People are smurfing smurffy.
I lost my great nanny almost two years ago, though it feels like yesterday. I miss her more then I could possibly tell you. She too was 95. I wish I could tell you it's gotten easier, but it hasn't. Though I'm not good with grief, I still cry when I think about her or when people mention her name.
Luckily she had no possesions that would be considered valuable. My family would have had a smurfing war. It's so sad that greed is always the first thing to kick in.
I'm sorry for your loss <3 If she is anything like my nanny I'm sure she is up there making up for lost time with her husband and enjoying being 30 forever (because that's what Sylvia Browne says and my nanny was always a huge fan, and I believe her too)
