Never EVER!!!!!!
I would not even pierce my daughters ears till she was old enough to tell me she wanted them. Thats just not right if you don;t... IMO.
I was 7 when I got mine and begged and begged. Then I hated it and only got one done at a time, b.c I was screaming so bad. I went back a hour or more later and got the second lol...

I would have gotten my daughters done, but I waited too long and I knew she'd mess with them and they'd probably get infected.

She's 4 now and on the fence about it. I told her that I'd take her to get them done any time she wants. So she'll want to go and then when we get ready to...she'll say nevermind I don't wanna go today

For a boy, as a baby? Never.

It crossed my mind cuz I think it would be cute but it would be painful and he wouldn't appreciate it, so I haven't.

I had to do it while working at Clare's and I felt horrible bc the boy didnt want them done (I think he was 2). The lady came in one day wanted the one ear done bc she thought it would be cute, came in the next day to get the other done hoping it would look better and ended up taking them out bc she didn't like how they looked
I wouldn't get them done until they asked for them.

I pierced my son's ears, both ears, when he was maybe 6 months old. He wore little diamond studs everyday until he was old enough to play sports. Then he would take them out and put them whenever he wanted to wear them. He's now almost 10 and likes that he has the option to wear earrings. I think he really likes it because it makes him look like my brother.. he really looks up to his uncle.

I personally wont get it done for a boy or a girl until they are older. My aunt got my cousin's pierced when she was a baby, and they tug and pull at their ears. She got a nasty infection in the piercings (pus, nasty stuff,) and had to have them taken out.

I would never pierce any of my childrens ears without their consent, be they boy or girl. However I would not stop them because of gender if they wanted it done when they were older.

When theyre older then sure, many boys get the one ear done. At least over here they do. I would never get any babies ears pierced though. If they were a baby then i'd only be doing it for my benefit. They might not even want it done so won't take that choice away from them!

I didn't get either of my children's ears pierced as babies. My son is now of age, so if he wants it done he can get it done. I won't care. My daughter has no interest in earrings.

My husband has both of his pierced but we didn't and are not going to do it for our son. If he asks when he gets older, then okay.

My son is four and has been begging to have his ear pierced...I'll probably take him to get it done soon. I don't think it's a big deal.

Would never do it as a baby to a boy or a girl.
If I did believe in ear piercing babies, I'd probably do both boy and girls.

If, when my son is old enough to make a reasonable request for it, he wants it done, no problem. Same with my daughters.

I would NEVER pierce either of my boys ears!! My husbands are both pierced and stretched. If either of them want them pierced when they are older, sure. But as a baby NO!! If it was a girl that would be different, but thats just me.

As a baby...probably not. Just because I've had it done in the last few years and it hurt like a bitch. Wouldn't want him to go through that unless he actually wanted it done and understood the pain potential and aftercare. But that said, if he DID want it in the future than yeah, I would. My husband and one of my twin brother's have both ears pierced.
