Do you have one of those excersize/birthing ball things??? I found that it kept the contractions going when i just bounced up and down on mine, helps bring the head further down i believe, good luck to you!!

If your water hasn't broken wait it out. You're not due for a bit still.

I wouldn't be in such a rush. You're still only 36 weeks, the baby's not coming for a reason.

I contracted painfully and regularly for 2 1/2 weeks and still ended up being induced.
I did everything to try to make myself dilate and got nothing.

Baby will come when ready.
I suggest lots of baths and herbal tea, it'll help keep you comfy.

If contractions are slowing or stopping then that wouldn't be a bad thing. Trying to.force yourself.to contour contracting is worse for everyone. Baby isn't ready and may get stressed.and mom has to be in pain. Contractions shouldn't slow or go away so in most cases they are only.BH contractions and not true labor if they do.

walk! with my daughter I went shopping and went inot labor, and with my son i was taking my daughter trick or treating when I went into labor, I know walking is painful with contractions, but nothing dilates you quicker than their head pushing on your cervix....

oopsie, didnt see that part until now. you dont WANT to have a baby pre term. sure you want the baby to come but wouldnt you rather wait a few weeks? and avoid all the pre term complications?

36 weeks is actually considered term. Not that you want the baby to come out now, obviously the longer LO stays in there, the better...but 36 weeks isn't pre term.
