Hmmm. I guess all Dr.'s do it differently. I had my Son at 37wks 5days and they didn't consider him pre-term.

I thought you knew this sight was full of smart and educated doctors! Lmao NOT!!! Every doctor is different I don't know why people DON'T SEEM TO UNDERSTAND THAT! But I guess they're just better than the doctors right? anyway...i don't know how you can dialate faster, because I really am no doctor lol, just try straying as active as you can I guess. Seems to work for me Gl

Quoting ☮Sugar Magnolia:" Yeah, because we're a site full of mothers and we care about the health of children. Not to mention ... [snip!] ... those health issues, so it bothers them when people like you are TRYING to go into ACTIVE labor before you even reach term. "

I am a mother that had a 36 week baby. Thankfully she did not need to go to NICU but watching 5 different dr swarm your baby as soon as she is delivered to make sure every part of her is working right is a scary thing. I was told by all those dr's, my own midwife and the pediatrician that has been seeing my daughter since then that 36 weeks is considered pre-term.

My doctor said 36 weeks is term (here in Carolina)
&that it wouldn't be a problem to go then They won't stop labor if your that far along, obviously.. It's not that threatening. If 90% of babies make it at 32 weeks...?

Take consideration that due dates are rarely right.. Sometimes it's on time when you think it's 2 weeks early.

For example.. The doctor told my sister she was 6-8 weeks and she was 30 weeks, in her third trimester. He later found he was wrong when she started feeling her baby kick.

f you were in active labor they would have kept you there. My Ob told me that real contractions make you dilate. They cause the cervix to change. False labor like Bh do not they may feel like "real labor" but it wont cause the cervix to change. good luck

Unless her doctor was completely incompetent and a moron I highly doubt that. They would have done an ultrasound. And if they can't tell the difference in 6-8 and 30, someone needs their medical license revoked.

Her doctor didn't due an ultrasound.
Obviously you have to do a urine test before and wait a while before you even go to the OBGYN where you get the first ultrasound. Her urine test came back saying 6 weeks not the doctor.

What are you...?. The breeding expert?

#rude.

But bye bye now

Don't know wtf kind of doctor she went to that takes a while to do a urine test lol. And pretty much ever doctor I've heard of does a dating ultrasound at a first visit. And yeah, I know about first visits pretty well. I've had 4 of them.
