Im an emotional eater.

I hate it.

I eat when im sad, when im happy.
I eat all the damn time.

The only time I dont is when I feel numb.

I need to lose weight, but I keep gaining :'(

Any advice?

I try to replace the food with a cold glass of water. It is about all I can do to eliminate some calories.

after baby 3 1/2 months ago I was at 140 and so freaking happy but ive been eating like crazy because im so damn bored uuggghhhhhh as soon as i stop breast feeding im going to start working out

Idk, maybe try to get rid of the eating habit by picking up a better one. Instead of eating when you're sad,mad, etc...write in a journal. Or have healthy snacks to munch on instead.

Only keep healthy foods in your house. So that when you eat it's at least good for you.

I try to get sweets that are already portioned. That way, I don't eat half a pint of Ben and Jerry's in one upset sitting. I just eat one pudding cup.

Maybe chew gum, drink a glass of water or pop an Altoid when you feel like you're about to start eating?

That must be hard. I can't eat when i am sad, upset hurt and i end up loosing weight   [too much of it]

Drink a glass of water first. We often confuse dehydration with hunger. If you are really hungry, you will still be hungry but if not, you will feel much better.

The one thing I must have in the house at all times is watermelon. It's so sweet and good for you as well as filling. I eat a TON of it and it really helps me stay on track and be satisfied between meals.
