Need Advice!!!!

It's my due date!! I need tips on helping me get into labor! I rreeeaaalllyyyy don't want to be induced, so I have until next monday or they will. I want to do this on my own so bad! I've lost mucus plug all this past week, and started having some contractions, on and off. Last night they woke me up because they got intense but then stopped. Please help!

Wait...and say no to the induction. They can't force you. Sounds like you're close but they shouldn't give you a deadline unless it's medically necessary.

Walk, walk, walk, walk!!! Sex if you can...walk some more. Go up and down stairs if you have access to any. Sit on a yoga/exercise ball if you have one. Spicy foods. Ummm, that's all that I can think of right now.

This!!! It helped me but I woke up with contractions and kept movig almost all day and had him at 3am that night

Thats true...I'm just worried about him getting too big if I go past 41 weeks, or the passing meconium, or just having a risks in general with going overdue and then ending up with a c section

ok! I'm going to take my dog on a walk here in a bit. If I can get SO to cooperate with maybe we will get some freak on tonight   we've only had sex like 3 times the last 2 weeks. How smurfing sad huh? Would squats help also???

You shouldn't have any issues until 42 weeks, that's when the risk starts going up. Just remember that inductions can increase the need for c sections too.
In the meantime...if you can get an exercise ball and bounce around, I did that the 2 days before I had my last.

Yes, that would help also. Anything to bring the baby down!

With my 1st I walked all day long , then had sex, and that night my water broke. Walking and sex is best. Make sure he finishes in you...the semen is most important! Its ripens your cervix.

Walking was the only thing that helped me. It was to painfull for me to have sex, so I couldnt try that, although I have heard alot of women say it worked for them. Also as a PP said, you can always refuse to be induced. Good luck

Oh yes, we had a lot of sex up until I got to about 32 weeks, then our work schedules kind of made it impossible. And he always finishes in me lol where do I get the epo?? I think I might try that in a couple days. Walking and sex for the next 2 days though for sure. I will go to the mall and just walk around wishing I could fit back into cute clothes lol

You can get EPO from WalMart or any store really. It wouldnt hurt to use that too. I would start it right away. Putting 2 or 3 in vaginally at night. Wear a panty liner...it will be messy!

Oh ok!! That's ok, I'm pretty used to all the discharge and mucus plug coming out now, having a vagina really sucks :/
