Baby Shower?

How far along were you when you had yours? Im thinking about doing mine November 17th. Ill Be a few days shy of 28 weeks. Yes or no?
Also,What foods did you have at yours?

I only had a baby shower for my first. I was around the 36 week mark. I think? Hard to remember, it was 20 years ago. All I remember is having cake. My mom's friend threw it for me.

I think I was 27 weeks when I had mine, I just had finger foods. Like cookies, a cracker tray, some chocolates, those tiny bbq sausages, cupcakes & a welcome baby cake of course. (:

I am very glad I had mine early, I had a lot of stuff to go through & since I hit 30 weeks I have been super lazy. So IMO it is best to do it early.

I didnt have mine until 1-2 wks after baby was born, but thats common where im from!

I had my shower at 35 weeks.

As far as food, we probably had at least 20 different dishes total including appetizers and dinner food. But my shower was a Caribbean/American mix so we had to have plenty of both kinds of food.

Plus cake, cupcakes and cookies

Didn't have it yet, but the date is set. I'll be 31 weeks to the day.

That's why i was thinking its better to have it early.. Im not gonna be use to being big at all since i had LO at 25 weeks. Plus it will give me more time to prepare.
As far as foods. I was thinking pizza but i was wanting something else to go with it?

I can't really help there.. mines a secret. I assume it'll be mostly little snack type things though.

I know nothing about mine lol I'm not allowed to know. I just know where it'll be and what day. I don't think they've sent out invites yet, they only came up with the date like a week or so ago. It'll be Dec. 9th.

I think i was 36 weeks when i had mine...

I was 30 weeks when I had my shower this time because it was in summer and everyone was busy and I wanted it done before kids went back to school.

I had 3 with Landon. 29 weeks for the first, 31 for the second, 35 for the third.

With Mallory we just had our sprinkle last weekend & I was 32 weeks.
