With my first, my mother threw me an all-out baby shower and I was 36 weeks..With my second, she made a dinner and everyone who wanted to attend had to bring a baby boy outfit (I was 37 weeks)..With this pregnancy, I had my 'dinner' last Sunday at 38 weeks..28 weeks is definitely not too late and will be good for you to be able to have the energy to get everything settled before baby comes!
