I would compromise with him. Say you'll wait to find out, but you have to have the names chosen and set.

As for clothes and whatnot, just buy enough gender neutral stuff to cover until baby is born, and you can get out to buy gender specific.

You can still have control and let him have some! Agree to walking in the hospital with a name list but the compromise is that you get to narrow it down to 2-3 names. You can even say you want the middle names set in stone and have a few first names. Make lists of what you need no matter the sex, then make lists and plan for what you specifically want for a boy and for a girl. You can still plan, organize and write lists, you'll have twice the lists to occupy you this way! LOL Find a fun nickname for the baby so you and the kids can bond even without a set name.

I'm like you and not finding out the sex would drive me up the wall but you have to admit that it would make the birth that much more exciting! I've thought about doing it when I was playing with the idea of another baby but that's out the door now, haha
