VBAC

posted 21st Oct
All the sudden, I'm scared. I know I'm having a VBAC, it's never been a question in my mind and me OB is all for it. I don't know why I'm starting to get nervous. Ease my mind!!!

it'll be ok. Worst case... another c-section.. which you've already survived. But.. likely everything will go fine. They'll have the OR crew in house just in case something goes wrong... they'll have lab etc all done in preperation of a section just in case. It'll be FINE.

I had my successful VBAC on the 11th and it was amazing! I have to admit that when I was pushing and my discouraging nurse wasn't saying anything about my progress I started to wonder if I had made things a lot harder on myself. But when she finally did come out I was on top of the world. I felt SO much better directly afterwards than I did after my c-section. I was a little nervous, but I'm so glad that I went through with it! I think you'll be fine too, and like the girl before me said, worst case scenario is another c-section. And you already know what that's all about. Good luck

Honestly, I'd be more scared to have another c section..if your doctor is confident about it then I would be too...my mom told me after she had her c section it took her longer to recover..just remember that you'll be in less pain afterwards...good luck!

My doctor always reminds me the risk is just as great with a repeat cs as with the vbac. Nerves are just a normal part of birth. Everything will be fine! Good luck to you momma
