Weird pain/numbness?

I posted this before, but got no answers so hopefully i can get help with this one. I have been having this weird pain/numbness on my right hip. It feels exactly like when you wear a pair of jeans way too tight and it gets tingly and numb, but ive made sure not to wear anything tight or constricting. My mother-in-law said the baby could possibly be on a nerve. Its been like this for about a week. it makes it hard to sleep (not that i was expecting a good nights sleep throughout my pregnancy lol) but i just wish it would go away! Has this happened to anyone else? and is there a way to make it better? ive tried sleeping on my other side but its just not comfortable at all please help, this is driving me crazy!!!

Your MIL is right, baby is just on a nerve, not really much you can do sadly. Funny how they aren't even here yet and already on our nerves lol

Try sleeping with a pillow between your legs.
If it's baby on a nerve, though, there isn't really much you can do. Sorry  

MIL is right. I had the same problem for a while and it eventually went away on its own.

lol yea that is funny! haha but thank you everyone, im just glad nothing is actually wrong! i'm a first timer and it seems like everything freaks me out cause i have no idea whether its normal or not, its surprising how much you dont know about pregnancy until you actually are pregnant! lol

Do you remember about how long it lasted? or do you think it just varies as the baby grows? im 19 weeks tomorrow and i read that the baby is going through a growth spurt lol so hopefully it wont last too much longer!

Ummm maybe a month or so? I've had a lot of lower back pain in general and my OB prescribed me one of those maternity support belts, which makes a world of difference.

its already been a few weeks, and ive also had a lot of back pain :/ but i go back to the doctor on the 26th (we find out the gender!) but ill make sure to tell the doctor about my persistent back pain.

All he'll do is tell you to get a belly belt. At least thats ll mine did. And i'm 31 weeks, and have had INTENSE back pain since around 18 weeks. Another doctor in the ER told me i was in so much pain because as your belly grows, your spine curves out more to help support your belly.
