Quoting I Love Dem Baybees!:" How did your back feel during the first week after giving birth? It hurts for me to stand upright and ... [snip!] ... with my second child, this one however scared me. Just curious what it felt like for you after, and how long it lasted."For the first week after giving birth my back felt like yours! And the doctor who gave it too me kept moving the needle around and kept getting sharp pains down my right side.. But now its been 3 weeks (Monday) since I gave birth and my back still kinda hurts but not as bad as it did that first week!
Quoting Andi+Andy=Marley+1:" I didn't have any side effects from my epi."
Quoting I Love Dem Baybees!:" How did your back feel during the first week after giving birth? It hurts for me to stand upright and ... [snip!] ... me to feel just a little better, just feels like my back is caving in, in that spot and sitting up straight doesn't help."
Quoting *Zander's mommy*:" Same here. I didn't even feel the needle."I wish I could say the same, with my first daughter an older lady tried and tried then gave up. The guy that came in after her did well I suppose but I had pain and pressure from the needle though each time. My second was great, he had a guy watching him..I'm pressure sure the student or new guy was watching and not doing the epidural but anyways I did have a tiny bit of pain maybe once but just pressure and then he was done. It worked evenly, and my legs never got numb and log-ish so I could move them! It wore off fast and I was able to walk to the mother and baby room!
Quoting P@m3L@!!:" 5 years and 3 babies later my back is all messed up from my epi's. its not too bad unless im standing on my feet for LONGGG hours a day or unless someone touches the area. "What's odd is, I can touch and push on my back in the spot that it was inserted but it doesn't hurt. I just hurts down in there, like in my spine...smurf.
Quoting Momma to J & S:" <blockquote><b>Quoting ♥ Monkey:</b>" nearly 2 years PP and still hurts! I was ... [snip!] ... you get relief"</blockquote> ?!? A nurse should NOT have been administering an epidural. Only a anesthesiologist can..
