Play Dates?

I have a 4 year old who is an only child and I need to find play dates for him. We are having a hard time getting him to understand that he can not always have what he wants when he wants it. That's a lesson that is hard to teach here at the house due to him being an only child. I am trying to help his socialization skills. Kal'el (pronounced Kal as in Cal in California and el as in EL Nino) is a smart kid and I just want to prepare him the best I can for kindergarten. If there any any parents who live in the Boston, Bedford, Billerica, or Lowell area let me know! Or if anyone has any ideas on what I can do, please let me know!! I am up for trying anything. Thanks!!

Put him in a class? Swim, dance, karate?

Look on meetup.com and see if there are any mom groups in your area. They usually have a list of activities for different ages and he would get to interact with other kids and you might meet a new friend as well!
