Hospital bag suggestions

posted 20th Oct
Okay so I totally forgot about packing a hospital bag, everything else is ready to go. From reading things on weekly email updates and in books its mostly saying a robe, slippers, socks, comfy clothes, hygiene things. I saw a baby story and this lady gave birth in a sports bra rather then the gown or whatever I was thinking of getting some it looked comfy. I plan to attempt to breastfeed so do I need anything for that? What type of clothing did you bring for you to wear while at the hospital and going home? Besides a going home outfit for baby did you bring anything else for the baby, like your own receiving blankets? Thanks for any ideas or advice   I plan on going tonight to buy whatever I need and pack a bag tonight, just like to be prepared ahead of time.

Yup haha!!! You prolly won't need a lot in the hospital but better safe than sorry. Lansinoh are my faves. Never had issues with them. This time I'm
Gonna splurge and try Milkies I think.

you really don't need much. a coming home outfit for the LO and like new underwear. lol. the hospital (at least mine did) provides everything..pads, diapers, wipes...everything! I just stayed in the hospital gown. and my LO just stayed in what clothes they gave her at the hospital until we were ready to go home.

no they were nice...they were comfy and you didnt have to worry about ruining your own underwear. I really loved my hospital stay lol...i didnt want to leave. There was cable (i dont have it) and graham crackers, juice, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, ice cream, italian ice...all available 24/7 at the nurses station thing in the hallway!

And don't forget to take everything home that is stocked in the bassinet and everything they have stocked for you to use. They charge you or your insurance for it anyway so you might as well take it.
