Blood blood blood.. Tmi.

I'm 5 weeks going into the 6th week Post Birth. I've been bleeding on and off. I swear I keep getting excited when it stops.. Cause it stops for a few days (and has been up to a week) at a time and I just get super excited for it to be over! Haha so then I've been having sex.. And when it starts again its like goddamn. But anyway..
The first few days after birth I passed a couple of clots, that has been it until now. I passed a few clots today. Nothing huge really.. Maybe 10c coin size? Hurt a bit though. I've never passed clots with AF and I don't think I would already have a period? But I don't know what's normal in terms of bleeding post birth...
are having clots 5 weeks later normal?

I think so. doctor told me not to freak out if I had them and that they often came out around that time.

ETA-- said to call doctor if clots were larger than a golf ball.

i bled on and off for a while pretty heavy aswell for about 6 weeks... i think its pretty normal as long as your not passing massive clots!

That's normal, as long as they're not huge clots. You're supposed to wait at least 6 weeks until your PP visit though for the doctor to clear you to have sex.

.. Oh cause I got told once the bleeding stopped it should be okay... A bit late now.. Not like I'm gonna have sex while I'm bleeding this crazy.. And 6 weeks is next week..

I'm pretty sure if the clots were golf ball size I would think I was actually dying or something.. Like damn...
Hopefully it stops soon cause I keep getting really weak and needing to sit down and stuff when I'm bleeding.
