Homemade Christmas?

Are you making anyone gifts this year??

I know I am making my mom and a friend of mine pot holders and probably a coffee sleeve and crocheting a few dishcloths.

My little sil I am going to get a frame, some small hooks and pretty paper and make her a necklace holder.. I'm also thinking about making her a hollowed out book to possibly hide a new necklace in..

The younger bil is super easy we're getting him MTG cards.

For the girls I want to get those loopy things that hold fabric in to do needle point or whatever it is and put parts from special outfits in them to decorate their room.

What are you ladies doing?

idk theres so many crafts on pinterest i want to try!!

I'm going to make some printable quotes (or something along the lines of that) and put them on canvases as add-on gifts.

Oh i like the idea of making a necklace holder. I would love to make gifts this year but i need ideas lol. The hollowed out book thing, this is random but reminds me of when i was younger i used to hide my smokes from my mum by putting them in a hollowed out book haha. I like the idea of putting a necklace in it, nice suprise.

im going to make a buttload of bows and headbands and clippies for my little neices, other than that, probably bought.

Oh awesome, kind of reminds me of what I did for the grandmas for mothers day i took drawings of the kids and cut them into shapes and glued/modge podged them on a painted canvas they turned otu so cute

Lol thats too funny! She is such a book worm too.. its unreal. I think it'd be such a cute gift.. get a random book from goodwill that when she opens it she'd be like "uh why did you get me this???" lol

I love photo books! I did them last year but on some website they had a deal buy one get 2 free or something like that.

it was awesome! I got one for both the grandparents and even one for hubs grandparents.. they LOVED it because they dont get to see the girls often.. and in theirs I put in other pictures (like inbetween the pages) from when we'd got their pictures done throughout the year.

I'm using mason jars to layer ingredients for chocolate chip cookies for my sisters house gift, aunt and sperm donor Curtis.

For Aunts and Grandparents I'm cutting out dough to bake for homemade Christmas ornaments and then modge podging a group pic of the boys on when they are done decorating them.

And then every Christmas I make home baked cookies, different types of brownies, cookie called a rosette that's deep fried and dusted with powdered sugar, and Fattigman for all the Christmas gatherings.

it sounds like you are going to be busy! My mom and I usually bake cookies every year.. but thie year I've tried so many new recipes that are amazing that I want to do all the new ones so I think I'm doing it alone this year

I really like this idea for therapists.
