I keep getting denied for medicaid, because I do not want to pursue child support because that automatically means, he is eligible to get visitation rights..which is never ever going to happen as long as I am alive.

I don't even care if I don't have health insurance, but..they won't even give it to Alyssa & she needs surgery to put tubes in her ears, because since she was born..she's had a lot of ear infections. But, do you think they care ? NO.

I swear to God, my town is so smurfed up....

Cant you take him to court to get the visitation denied if hes that bad?

Its like that here to. There is a way to get around that, atleast here there is unless if he is on the birth certificate.

Talk to your worker they make exceptions. Mine had allegations of abuse so i got that waived

The reason is because, you SHOULD be getting money from him (Not saying you want to or that he deserves to see her or anything like that) and the states logic is that if they have to give you food-stamps/medicaid etc. Then they are going after the father for CS as that SHOULD technically be part of the "income" you have. They don't care what the situation is, they just don't want to give PA if they are not required to or have to, Just because of a issue between the mother and the father. Because some (Not saying you) woman will lie and are just keeping the child away from the father out of spite and still want PA even though they would get CS and that would put them over the income limit.

If it's at bad a you claim and he should not have any visitation or rights to the child take him to court, go for full custody with no visitation, he will still be required to pay CS if the court finds him unfit!

Have you gone to court for full custody? he still owes CS regardless if he has visitation or not!!
