Dogs

Im looking for a dog that can grow up with my 2 month old son. What dog breed is good to raise around a baby/kids

We have a blue heeler and she is so good with our kids. She is a sturdy dog, so kids won't hurt her

Labs are always good.

We have a Blue Heeler as well but she is very rowdy with the kids and beats them up a bit when they play with her. She is very young so I am hoping she grows out of it.

English bulldogs or any bulldog they are sweet, especially if you get them at an early age and they absouletly adore children. I have an english bulldog and she grew up around my little brother and adores him. I suggest them but Labs are good too! Wish you best of luck!

Lab! We have a choc lab and he is amazing!!! Most little dogs pee everywhere.

My boyfriend has been begging me to get a pit bull but Ive heard so many horror storys :/ I dont know if that would be a good idea!

It depends on the owner, the breeder and temperament of the dog. Sadly, Pit Bulls get a bad name but it just depends on all thoes things I mentioned above. If anyone of thoes are bad, then you get a bad pitbull.

Despite what most people think. pit bulls and rotweilers are great family dogs. Any breed of dog can be raised to be mean. One of the biggest, sweetest dogs I know is a rotty and I love him : )
We have a labradoodle and she's extremely hyper most of the time but when she's laying on her bed my son can crawl right up to her and pull her eyebrows or stick his finger in her nose and she could care less : )
St. Bernards are also amazing : )

I had a rottie and lab mix. My rottie I had for 6 years and he was the biggest baby ever. He thought he was a lap dog, lol. My lab mix was such a sweetheart I swear she thought she was human and wanted to help with everything... I miss them

They are very good dogs and protective of babies! It is so cool how pitbulls just know how to take care of its family's baby's. Its natural instinct or the dogs to watch over the human baby

I have two and a baby and they are all good with each other. The one thing I worry about is the dogs tail! I worry that my pup might hit the baby with the tail. besides that I don't worry at all. My 11 month old feeds the pit bulls treats

Ours is 2 and was that way until our son was born. We were very worried, but she went up to my son and smelled him and something happened. I have no idea, but she is so good with them.

My hubby wants a Doberman and much like pitt bulls some people don't look at them in a good way. However, I refuse to get anything like these dogs not because of being afraid of them, but because if you own a home the insurance company won't insure you or if you already have insurance they will cancel it. I worked for insurance company once and seen it happen so many times.

My beloved pup is a Pitwiler! I love this dog so much and he is the best with my baby
