growth scan

So Monday I went for my 38 week checkup and he said this coming Monday I get my growth scan which I am super excited about. I'm assuming this is an u/s of the baby to get an estimate of how much she weighs etc.

Last time we did this scan was when I was pregnant with my oldest and they said she was 12lbs+ on a Saturday they did the csection on that Tuesday and she came out 10lbs 8oz ... Since I have a week between the scan and my csection w.e. they say on Monday by the next Monday she could/should be about a lb heavier then that right.


I'm so excited! Lol so random .... Last time we checked her weight I was like 34 weeks and she was 4lbs 15 oz I believe =/ something like that. I'm excited to see whay I could possibly expect.

they checked me at 35+4 and LO was measuring 6lbs 1oz O.O
I'm afraid he's gonna be huge...

I had one at 36 weeks and she was already measuring 7lbs 6oz ... And they don't seem to think shell be more than 9 lbs at term and aren't even talking induction or c section.... I'm so nervous they're wrong and she's gunna be huge cuz I thought they ained a pound a week during the last month? We're you full term when they did ur csection with your first?

Ps I'm jealous you know when she's coming!

Hahahaha I love knowing although its slightly obnoxious bc I am stuck waiting for that day -_- you could happen at any time (which in reality so could I but I don't think that way since I'm scheduled) ..... Well see I always give or take a lb or two since they said jennah was 12 lmao and she was only almost 11 ..... I haven't seen many babies born more then what was expected, but of course that happens. With my first everything got messed up, the first doctor I went to gave me a due date of August 25th then he changed it to Septemeber 10th. I left them bc they insisted my baby had cysts on her brain and they totally slacked off on helping me figure out what was wrong. So I went to a new dr. Where he discovered there are no cysts and these people are idiots! He then changed my due date to September 8th. By the time we got to the end of August we did her growth scan she was hugeeeee and he feared me going into labor and her getting stuck bc I have very small pelvic bones. So that was that.
