arghhhhh

a midwife saw me a week ago and said that my cervix looked like it had prolapsed. I asked her to check because I could feel something coming out of my vagina (sorry tmi). So I went to the doctors today to find out how bad it was and the doctor said it isn't prolapsed? So I'm like wtf. The midwife said it is and it feels like it is. And to touch it with my hand there is definitely something there. So who do I believe?! The doctor is the one that could do something about it but she says it all looks fine... I should probably just go with that but something doesn't feel right

if u are not sure go to hospital worse thing is they will send u home but if ur not happy with the second opinion i would reckon going to hospital

LOL, definitely don't go to the hospital, it's not an emergency at all. Make another appointment with a different dr and get a second opinion. If that dr says the same thing I'd be more inclined to believe them.

I would trust the midwife and asked to be checked and get a second opinion.
Remember in our country the midwives are trained professionals who have degrees and have studied for years to be able to practice, fair enough doctors do too but out midwives are specialists in their field.

I think I'll ring the birth centre and try speaking to the same midwife and see what she says
