DIY costumes

I need help coming up with an idea for DD's costume. I crochet, so I'm going to be making the majority of whatever I choose. I was thinking Spongebob because she's obsessed, but I don't know yet. I'm trying to do things that are easy, and I can mostly find at home.

I love those monkey crocket hats or owls. what about on of those beard ones and put her in a flannel shirt and stuff the belly so she has a gut LMAO! Probably a better idea for a boy.

Make her an owl hat and some owl foot coverings for her shoes. only thing you'd have to find was a body suit to sew on wings, (that you can also crochet)

I was thinking and came up with a punk rock monkey. I think that would be SO freaking adorable!

That would be really cute, I'm obsessed with monkeys so anything and everything monkey is a great idea to me! haha
