At 5 weeks you can still do a pill abortion. Where you just take some pills and causes you to "miscarry". Your symptoms and pain should just be above cramps. I've heard that you cramp kinda bad, and bleed heavier. The best thing you can do is stay home curled up on the couch and relax while watching your favorite movies and eating your favorite foods. That's what I would have done.

Be really careful looking for information because their is a lot of fanatic prolife centers that seem like prochoice. They will just guilt trip with misleading information. Personal experience it isnt painful and go before 8 weeks so you can get the pill cause it is easier and cheaper. I had to have one when I was young and broke. I dont regret it 7 years later. I do wish I would have been more careful in the first place. My ex at the time was a loser and still is one. If I had the money and emotional support I would have had the baby. You know what is best for you so once you decide to abort dont delay just get it done.

Im not talking about BG. Im saying when she googles or phone books for a place to go to have an abortion to watch out. When I did mine years ago I was looking at websites some pose as prochoice when they are really trying to talk you into adoption or birth. I finally called a number that seemed legit and it all worked out fine. The doctors office was in a neighborhood and looked like a regular house. Sounds weird but if you think about it some clinics have protesters outside being vulgar and hateful. This place was nice but discreet.

You are SUPER early. just get the pill. its way better to do it now, ithink emotionally and physically. i had a miscarriage at 7 weeks and it was like a period just a tiny bit more intense, so i think if you got it done now it wouldnt be anything more than how a normal period feels like. GL
