what is the best thing about being a single mom?

Just curious as to see what people say  

Your kid(s).  

I'm not a single mom but for me I would think not arguing over parenting choices

I don't have to share cuddles or holidays =)

I don't have to share her!

The best thing for me, being a single mom is getting twice the love, twice the hugs, twice the kisses.
I absolutely love being a single mom.

Not having to ask anyone how to raise my kids. I don't have to even pretend to give two ficks what anyone else thinks of my parenting.

Nooooo sharing! I get ALL the love my kids have to give! And I don't have to consult anyone on how to raise them. I start solids when I want to. Front face when I want to. Dress them how I want to. It's awesome.


Sure, I need a break from the screaming baby at times, but I love having my kids all to myself.

i'm not a single mom, but it'd be nice to choose whatever i like for DD and not have to consult DH about it
