I'd say that long after it's not very likely that there's still remaining HCG, at least not enough to be detected on a HPT. But a blood test will tell you for sure. Then again if the tests are getting darker, I'd say you're pregnant again.

k thanks, i was thinking the same..then when i googled it, they were saying it could stay in your system over a month...ugh..all so confusing, but i know time will tell lol

It can, but it usually wont be enough to be detected on a HPT. Since it should be steadily dropping after the 3rd week or so...have you had a blood test afterwards to check your levels?

I agree with this.
OP if you had sex after your abortion, you could be pregnant. but then again, it could very well be left over.

Generally, HcG levels usually return to zero 4-6 weeks after the end of a pregnancy. I suppose its possible that you still have HcG in your system, but if you've had sex since, it may be a new pregnancy.

i was 7 weeks at my procedure..
