Birth Control Price?

Josh just got a new job a couple of weeks ago. The good news is, it pays waaay more than his last job *YAY!* The bad news is, he doesn't get insurance for the next 90 days. So, I am currently uninsured, as I was covered under his old policy, and I need to get on Birth Control. My question is this. Does anyone know how much BC pills cost w/o insurance?? Thanks a lot

cant you just goto a health dept. or something and get it free

different prices for different ones ... I think most are around 50 to 90 every month

I bought some one time and they were like $54 but that was an expansive brand soo maybe is cheaper for other brands

It depends on what kind you are on, but if you go to the Department of Public Health, they'll give it to for free, even after the insurance kicks in.

Depends on the brand. Have you guys tried to get on Medicaid or anything even just for the baby while you are waiting for his insurance to kick in?

maybe try planned parenthood. I htink you might be able to get it for free or really cheap.

Kylie is already on Medipass, which is a type of Medicaid, so she's covered, thank God. I think the only BC the health department offers for free/cheap is the Depo, and I was on that when I was 18, and couldn't stay on it, because it gave me awful headaches. I guess I will call the HD tomorrow to see what other options I have. Thank you ladies so much.

Check out planned parent hood. A friend of mine got a years supply for $5 bucks.
