Same here! I never planned to...we should have been completely fine, especially with hubby's bonus, but his job terminated him out of the blue for a BS reason (coincidentally right before his bonus was determined)...he's never had any sort of disciplinary or attendance issues before, so it completely blindsided us. He tried to talk to some lawyers about wrongful termination but apparently in NYS your employer can fire you for any reason (or no reason) unless it is discriminatory. So we also lost our health insurance and now he can't find anything...

Yeah...boyfriend and I planned on maybe thinking about makin a baby in 2013...since I'd be over half way done with my 2nd year of college and he was hopefully gonna have a job :/ That didn't work out so well... lol He's having a hell of a time finding a job, because he has a felony on his record from when he was 16-17...and no one is willing to hire him because of it. He can't even get it erased from his record until he has over 20 grand to pay off the restitution. It's more then a little stressful  
An that's dumb! They shouldn't be able to fire someone without just cause. I know my dad sued the company that fired him because they tried to claim "incompetency" after they okayed his work for 3 weeks straight...they only claimed that because then he couldn't claim unemployment   It's dumb what employers think they can get away with...it's even worse what they actually do get away with.

I know, right? And he's a white male so he can't really claim discrimination, lol. He doesn't even want the job back, just the bonus, because he worked there for over a year and their profits went up significantly because of him...

This may be a little random so your forewarned. When I was in college my friend and I would donate plasma. It depends on the place how much you get paid. The benefit is you are also helping save lives. The first 2 times I donated I got $60. It was a fairly easy $120 then I decided not to go cause you only get like $50 total for 2 times. After 2-3 weeks they would send me a postcard in the mail saying they would pay me $50 a piece so I'd go back to make $100 for 2 donations. I had some friends that were completely freaked out by what I did. Anyways it you're really looking for some extra money and you don't mind wasting around an hour of your day then that is an option if there is a center close by you. I mean you can't do it pregnant but your man could. They make you fill out some paperwork and do a physical before you get approved though.

Yeah...my guy was doing that a year ago to make his rent money...donated 2x a week every week for like 3 months. They won't let him donate anymore because he was getting too sick from it :/ And I can't be around needles that I can see for that long...I have panic attacks...it's lame. lol
Sadly the state capital doesn't have any plasma banks around here anyway...I don't get it, but eh. My brother was going to try to donate to get some money to pay people back...and they only have blood donation, and there's no money offered for it. :/

My husband found out how much women can make from donating eggs so he's pushing me to do that now...lol. He's like "why isn't sperm worth that much?"

lmao my boyfriend just found out about sperm donations...he got all excited at the prospect of getting paid to do what he's best at lol I told him he wasn't allowed to though...we're not that desperate yet.

I don't have the crib yet either. Monday my husband and I are going to pick one up. I just haven't found what I'm looking for yet. I can't wait to get one though because it will make it all seem that much more real  

I am due December 20th with a girl. I am at the nervous excited phase. I hope she isn't late and comes on Christmas. My doc says that according to her brain scans from my last ultrasound that he wont be surprised if she comes any where from the 5th to the 20th. I just hope she doesn't come early on Thanksgiving.

We don't have a crib either...my son is still using his (as a toddler bed) but we plan to use it for the baby and get him a big boy bed. We're going to use a bassinet for the first couple months anyway. We don't have a nursery to set up right now.

Yeah...we don't have a nursery either   He's gonna be in our room...which is tiny lol

I hate it because I'm in that nesting phase now where I want to get everything ready...I've already washed and put away all her clothes, not much more I can do!
