They have super big ones at the dollar store around here...I've looked and thought about getting one already..   lol
I washed little ones clothes, but it just smells like the rest of our clothes since we have to use hypoallergenic/super sensitive soap anyway   I keep playing with his clothes and rearranging what we have for him. Can't wait to get his crib next month and put it together!

We put up his crib a few weeks ago and it's killing me seeing it empty!! so don't feel bad if you don't have everything ready because it seems like the more you have prepared for them the more impatient you are lol

haha I just feel like we're not prepared at all...we have just a few clothes, a couple milk storage bottles, a swing and blankets family has made. lol I don't even have my pump or bottles yet   I already want him here an I'm super impatient already...at least if I had some stuff for him, I wouldn't feel so guilty! lol

I'm nervous about labor and birthing too...no one in my family has had natural birth in awhile :/ c-sections have been necessary for everyone

Same here....every woman on my mother's side has had a c-section. Me & my sister was breach and my sister's baby was in a weird position as well. But mine is head down ready to go so i might be the 1st lol.

My brother wanted to come out backwards and upside down...so he was a c-section. And I was a scheduled c-section because medical issues they found on an ultrasound. My sister's oldest was a c-section because the cord was around his neck...and the other two were too close after the first to even attempt a natural birth.
haha My little man is being stubborn...his head is still up, so they're hoping he turns around soon. So I'm not positive if I'll have him naturally or not

I got stuff at consignment shops so it was gently used but in basically new condition. You could look around to see if they have anything you need at a reasonable price. Once upon a child is a nationwide 2nd hand store. They even give people a little money for stuff in good condition if you ever want to sell stuff to them.

There's a store like that about 1/2 an hour away from me...my sister and I go there a lot. But they can't sell any of the cribs because of the new(ish) law about the drop side cribs being illegal. There's a nursery set (crib, dresser, changing table) that I'm planning on getting that's a total of lik 275$ at WalMart. I just don't have the money until the first of the month. UGH

Recovery isn't always terrible...my sister recovers super easy from it every time. I hope everything goes okay for you though, and that you get to have your little girl the way you want to.

Feeling the same way...we were all set to move into a 3-br house and everything and then my hubby lost his job (and his $5000+ annual bonus). I only work part-time so now we can't afford anything...it's likely baby girl will be sharing a room with us and sleeping in a bassinet until we can afford otherwise...We might even have to move back in with my parents

Sucks because that was the situation with my son...I was a single mom the first time around...and this one we actually planned for and I wanted to be prepared for!

Yeah...thankfully my SO is getting seasonal work at a wreath making place close to here, and he's guaranteed at least 50 hours a week, 7 days a week, for 2 months. That's going to make it so we can actually get a little POS car, so we don't have to depend on my parents :/ Other than that, the only income we get is my VA school benefits, and in January that has to pay for my books, all LO needs, help with my parents, and who knows what else...and it's going to be almost nothing
We don't even have a car seat yet...my mom just bought one that can be used from birth-booster seat, and she's going to let us use that for little guy after he's born if she can't afford to get the travel system she promise us. Ugh. I hate having to depend so much on other people
