How soon? (Mirena)

How soon after having your Mirena removed did you get pregnant?

I had mine removed 10/11/12 and had a little bit of bleeding for a few days. SO and I did the deed unprotected last night (spur of the moment...smack my hand yeah I know) and I was just wondering how quick any of you ladies got pregnant after it being out. We are wanting to wait a few more months for my cycle to return/regulate but I dunno if that will happen because I didn't have a period while on Mirena.

I'm in the same boat. I had mine removed Sept 28(?) And a couple days later I spotted for 3 days and haven't bled since.

So I'm waiting too lol.

6 months to the day I got it out, I found out I was pregnant.

Were you actively trying to get pregnant every month? Or how long were you trying before it happened?

We started trying immediately.
We actually gave up TTC, and the next day, I found out I was pregnant.

I am in the same boat... Had mine out on the 9th and have not been very careful... Hubby is only home a few times a month so we try and make the best of it haha

Yep that's me. I got it out last Thursday, started spotting Saturday night and it stopped Tuesday morning. We will see I guess.

SO says he keeps dreaming about Twins o.O

i got mine out july 27, got my first real period sept 13 then oct 11 and we just found out we are expecting yesterday   i personally think it takes a little bit for the hormone to kick out of your body, my doc also said it could take up to 8 weeks before you start a regular cycle.

How far apart are your little ones?? Wabs and Snorts are 2.5yrs and if we get pregnant when we plan to Snorts will be 18-19mo apart from the baby

they will be 3.5 years apart !!!
