so ready for this

i just wentr to my doctor today and he told me i am 1cm dialted at 38 weeks...this is nerve wrecking since i dont know how long it will take. disconfort is really getting bad...what can i do to atleast make the disconfort a little more tolerable. or what i can do to seed labour for this child...any ideas?

I was 1cm for 4 to 5 weeks with both children, then all the sudden labor started. I changed to 2cm 5 days before labor started with Asher.

Just let things happen naturally, mama. You can try to naturally induce labor until you're blue in the face, but nothing will work unless your body was already in the process of going into labor. Besides, dilation is not necessarily a sign of impending labor. You could still have another month left. Take a warm bath and try to rest as much as you can.

thanks thats conforting...it just this disconfort is just not letting me sleep and walking is becoming a problem...but i guess its true cant speed nature lol. its just daddy cant wait, and i cant wait till i feel like me again .
