Inducing labor experiences. Nipple Stimulation etc.

So I'm being induced next week. I'd like to go before my induction to avoid pitocin and cervidil and all that since I was hoping for a natural labor and no epidural but with my last I needed the epidural because pitocin caused really bad contractions.

Any safe natural ways to induce labor?
People were telling me nipple stimulation.
How does that work?
Manually or using a pump?
Which would be more effective?

I don't wanna hear baby will come when its ready or it won't work if your body isn't ready. I just want to hear from people who've tried it if it worked or not.

I don't have a choice but to be induced even though my doctor would like me to go into labor by myself I'm already having contractions but they're not strong enough or close enough. *induction is for GD*

Any other ways? Sex, walking up and down stairs, evening primrose oil, red rasberry tea, bouncing on a ball, etc. (no castor oil)

I really don't think there's any way to naturally induce labor this early  
None of those things work unless you're ready to go.

I tried basically everything (minus castor oil) and still needed to be induced. I walked my ass off, bounced on an exercise ball, had plenty of sex, stimulated my nipples with a pump and manually, ate like 15 pineapples, drank red raspberry leaf tea, ate spicy foods etc.......long story short, my 1st came at 42w1d and my 2nd 41w3d .....by kiddies were just too comfy and need to be medically evacuated.

I was in early labor when I tried nipple stimulation, walking a ton, and sex. They kept my labor going, but I was already in labor.

Sex and Olive Garden put me iinto labor!

I haven't tried it but i just saw on my fb newsfeed where some women were saying that peppermint oil worked for them. I think they put it on their temples??? Not sure but you can google that.

I've been walking A LOT, drinking raspberry leaf tea, tried black cohosh, got an exercise ball to bounce on and so far no labor. I have been doing these things since last wednesday. We've also been having sex a lot and I will say that as long as we're not overly gentle and he stays inside of me for at least 15 minutes after he "finishes", I do get contractions that start up. Walking after makes them stronger. I went to L&D thursday after doing this but unfortunately she hasn't come yet. Going to try again tonight though!

Oh and nipple stimulation hasn't worked for me but I heard it only works once you start having contractions (which I didn't do). Also tried spicy food.. didn't do much except make me sick. Hope that helps! Good luck!

I did acupressure when I was preg with my first, although I was 2 weeks overdue... I still believe it was the acu.
You can google the points to press, and even if it doesn't work, it's more relaxing than trying to bounce and eat the baby out.
Acupressure isn't working for me this time, and the doctor is shocked I'm not in labor. So I'm with you on the willing to try anything part!! I even tried castor oil.... I have nothing negative to say about it but it also didn't put me in labor lol.

Baby-gaga hates castor oil.
But I will say this - I used it and it was successful. I was 38+4 days, water had been broken for over a week before I tried it. Midwife was aware. Didn't experience any diarrhea or weird side-effects either.

Have also heard great things about acupuncture.

I tried everything I could before going to castor oil, except for sex, since you can't have sex when your water is broken.

I too used castor oil with both pregnancies and was successful both times. I was in active labor probly 6 hours later. I did however experience diareah but was happy to be cleared out before pushing and even the next sore days.
