Yea i dont know how people stay still either on bed rest and not go crazy.
I have a dr apt wednesday to look at my ovaries and etc to see what is going on and they may put me on metformin. Which i have heard great things about to reduce the insulin in my body and will help jump start my cycle and ovulation..if im not ovulating. opk's dont work cause they show im always ovulating even when im not. lol
Metformin is also suppose to help me loose weight so we will see.

Hey ladies! I'm on cycle 2 since having my mirena removed. I'm on CD28 and 12 dpo. I started spotting yesterday and the spotting is brown this morning. If i don't get full flow early next week I'll test, otherwise, on to cycle 3 post Mirena.

I haven't updated on here in a while.

In November we got pregnant on my first cycle off mirena but sadly lost the baby at 5wks in Dec. I let myself have a full cycle before we started trying again. I am currently 5-7dpo on my 2ww and I am praying this is it and sticking! I have always always always wanted an October baby and if this is it I would be due around the 23rd  !

I will say this... Ladies please do research before TTC after Mirena. I found out that soooo many ladies had miscarriages shortly after getting mirena out.

I had posted earlier in this thread about my BFP.
But I had the same thing happen to me. Got pregnant my first ovulation (no period yet) off mirena and it was a chemical pregnancy mid December. I took a cycle off as well and now I'm just past ovulation. Hoping for an October baby too!
Wish I would have removed mirena a few months before really TTC but hoping we'll get this month! Good luck!

Sounds like we went through about the exact same thing. I was only bout 5wks and the ER wouldn't confirm if it was a chemical or "the beginning of pregnancy" I was so infuriated that they were trying to sugar coat it when I told them I had dark positives for over two weeks. *eye roll*

Im sorry to hear that. I have heard about it happening to quite a few women. I wish more were informed about the stupid mirena before they get it. I still havent had a normal cycle and I believe it has something to do with my having a mild case of pcos. Mirena should go out of business.

I know!! I am high risk, so as soon as I got my BFP I went in for blood tests. I started bleeding only 4 days after my first blood test. I just ovulated this past weekend. So 1DPO.

Actually I ovulate today! Just got my peak showing on my monitor. Hope we catch this egg!

I'm sorry for your losses ladies.

I had a m/c before I got pregnant with DD. I asked my Dr. about trying right away after having the Mirena removed becasue I was also worried about another m/c. He informed me that EVERYONE has the same percentage of having a miscarriage no matter what. 30%

So although you may want to blame Mirena on your loss, there is no real way to know. Along with all the stories you hear of people miscarrying after Mirena, there are just as many who had succesful pregnancies.

Again, I'm sorry you are going through this. It sucks no matter the reason why it happens. I know from experience.

I am sorry for the losses you ladies have gone through!! We are still trying as well and I started on some meds to help my thyroid and I am also taking Vitamin B6 becuase my LP was only around 6-8 days and that is not long enough for an egg to implant. I am 10-11 DPO today and I have not started spotting like I have every other month so I am thinking the B6 worked or we are pregnant or both haha. We only tried once this month (we have been busy packing) but it was the day before I o'ed so there is still a chance. AF should be here on Fri-Sat and then I will test if she has not reared her ugly head. I wish everyone who is still trying good luck and hope we all get those two lines soon!!!

I started Metformin for pcos on the 31st of Jan. I was writing down all kinds of symptoms that next week. It seems as I ovulated that week. DH and I didnt even do much this month. Feb 5th & 10th.. Im assuming we conceived one of those days. I got a BFP this afternoon when I got off work. Wow and its not that light either..its pretty dark!
Im excited but I dont know if I should keep taking the medicine or not. Alot of women do the first trimester to make sure things go okay. Some don't and end up miscarrying... ugh..tough decision... I want to switch obgyns too.... but yay!!!

Congrats Momma!!! I am soo happy for you :-)

We still don't have a BFP and I am thinking about stopping becuase DH has so many strikes against him that are stopping us from getting pregnant... not only does he have juvenile diabetes and has had it since he was 12, he chews tobacco, is on a bunch of antidepressants, and a beta blocker. Well upon further review all of these things can wreak havoc on the sperm so until he is ready to fix things I am done trying for now. It hurts but it is starting to wreck our marriage and it should still be fun and new and it just isn't anymore. He never wants to try when he knows it is important and I just don't know what to do.

Sorry to rain on your parade haha but you asked how we were doing. Congrats again momma I am sooo happy for you (and a bit jealous) :-)
