re: Anyone get their Mirena out Sept or this month Oct and are T

They just took DH into surgery and he will be in for about 3-4 hours... My stomach is in knots and I feel awful... I know he has been through soo much worse but he was so scared when he went in... My step dad also had surgery this morning and that seems to have went well and he should be going home later today or early tomorrow...

I'm so sorry! But at least you know now what's been going on with your body. Hopefully the doctors will get you answers!!!

Yes I am kinda glad I did go and now I know. I am going to email my primary care doctor. A part of me thinks my levels are still a bit off because of the mirena so I don't know if drawing my blood right now was a good thing. I do need to loose some weight and follow up in a few months I think though.

Me and Hubby decided that we're going to try until March because thats the latest that the baby would be born in the year 2013. Because in January 2014 I'll be in nursing clinicals

Oh okay. So a few months then wait until after clinicals in 2014?
Sounds good!It least yall have a plan worked out. I am sure we wont be pregnant until later in 2013. We are going to go ahead and plan a vacation in the summer. lol Life doesnt stop! Did you see my results on what the nurse practitioner told me? smh

DH is out of surgery... the Dr called me and said everything went well and I get to see him in about an hour!! I cant wait to see him so I can see for myself that he is ok!! Thanks for your thoughts and prayers

No, I missed that one! I just rechecked and found it. Im sorry that you got that news. They got those results from a blood test? Maybe I should be checked for that?! Thats for sure life doesn't stop. I was really hoping it would be easier... but I guess things don't always work out how you'd like. :/ Good luck though and keep trying! Whats next on there to do list? Is there a treatment for that?

Happy to hear all went well!

Well DH is doing well and after his f/u appt yesterday the DR seemed happy with the results... DH still cant see becuase they had to put a gas bubble in his eye and it blocks his vision but it should disolve within a few days and he should be doing better... Thank you for all the well wishes and prayers!! An update on my cycle I am 2 dpo and very bloated and gassy... ewwww... anyways not sure if that has anything to do with it but hey I am just watching what happens

Hey ladies I havnt been on here in a while, but I got my mirena out in October I had it in for about 7 months,I couldn't take the bad cramps any more so I got it taken out.me and SO are TTC baby #2,our son just turned 4 in October so it's a great time.i had lots of bleeds and clots for 7 days after I got mirena removed but not Af since then I believe,just lite spotting in the early November.ugh I hate I ever got the mirena it messed my cycle all up.

Hi ladies. New to this thread. I had my mirena removed Nov. 21. A few days later started bleeding. I started counting that as the beginning of my cycle. I started temping this morning and am taking OPKs. I just want to know what my body is doing. Before DD I had regular 30 day cycles with ovulation usually on day 16 or 17.

Well they want me into come in and discuss the lab results but I spoke with my primary care doctor..she does paps and etc.. .she actually had the mirena for a number of years and says dont just assume I have pcos and that my cycles may be irregular for about 6 months after removal. So I figure I'll just loose weight eat right and exercise and if things are normal after 6 months of taking vitamins and etc.. I'll go get all lab work done from my reg doctor and check levels of everything and hormones and etc. She checked my thyroid earlier this year..everything was fine. Sometimes you cannot jump to conclusions.. so I think I am going to chill and live life. lol We will see what happens.

Yea they want to talk to me about it but my primary care dr and I have decided to let my body get use to not having an object in it and not jump to conclusions that I have some type of syndrome or disorder. I need to loose some weight and get healthier though. Which I know and I half way blame the mirena for in the first place. lol So DH and I have decided to just go with the flow... and if nothing by August..after weight loss and etc..then start checking blood levels and blah blah blah. lol
