if you lost 100+ lbs what did you do

I am looking to see what other people did to help them lose the weight

I had lost 110 lbs but have gained some back- because I fell off track. I'm slowly losing again now.

Low carbs, high protein, lots of water, and working out was/is effective for me.

So what kinda of foods. I usually do low carb diet but i suck at coming up with good meal ideas. and what kind of work out

I was huge on chicken salad. I used regular mayo with it because it's the only one I liked, just not a lot. You can put it on a wrap, on some low-carb crackers, over a regular salad, or eat it plain.

Protein shakes were/are a biggie in my life. I have to eat on the go a lot and they work for me. I recently started making my own but I used EAS Advantedge a lot- they're at walmart for $4.79/4 pack.

LOTS of fruits and veggies- I eat veggies more than fruit though because I really only like apples, bananas,grapes, and pears. Absolutely NO soda- was really hard for me in the beginning, but helped tons.

I'm a really picky eater so ideas I list are going to be repetitive so I won't go there... lol But those are some ideas.

The low carb diet is tricky. You can EASILY gain it back when you 'stop'. My DH is doing it right now, my BIL did it a while back.. lost 50 pounds and gained it back in two months because he went back to his regular eating habits.

Grilled chicken with broccoli and cheese is my husbands favorite.

I lost 10 lbs already in two weeks.

I proportion my meals so half of my meal is veggies...all whole grains....portion okay snacks and have them prepared with times I am allowed to eat them...drink lots of water ((I add Mio to mine for flavor)). I got jogging every evening with LO and do a mix of Zumba and Yoga at home. Be consistent and it gets super easy to follow.

I know it's not a 'natural' way to lose weight. But, my MIL is on weight loss medicine right now. It's the one approved by the FDA. She has lost 50 pounds since May. She looks great. Supposedly on average you lose 10 pounds in the first month. But, you have to be overweight, normal blood pressure, and something else.

im trying this on my own again. before i got pregnant this last time i was going for gastric bypass but got pregnant so im giving myself another chance
