mirena issue

Ok I had my mirena put in last week to try to help with the excessive bleeding I tend to have. I wasn't bleeding before I got it and now I passing huge clots. Not just fists size....the biggest one was the size of my babys head. It really scared me this morning. The odd thing is I have stopped cramping as bad now but am still bleeding bright red.

I called yesterday and my ob said it was normal. But now I am getting nervous because I have cancer and I thought you weren't suppose to have mirena if you had it. And the clots are they normal? I don't want to leave it in and have more issues...and surgeries. I have been through enough. Sigh

Thats weird thats alot blood for a clot. Have you look up the stuff on mirena ? I could be wrong dont quote me on this , but I thought if you had or have a family of cancer you couldnt get it.

I did and that's why I am nervous. I don't want to have more issues. I just am worried that I passed something more than a clot. I didn't see anything in it so I know it didn't have the mirena in it.

I know she was trying to help with one thing but I don't want to cause issue with my tumors. I think I will call again in the morning. Its just the clotting that is making me nervous.
