Yes! I'm constantly trying to point out the fact that pictocin and epidurals have a proven link to c-sections!
Which, yes, if something goes wrong and you NEED to medically intervene, it's great that we have that technology, but our bodies can do it on our own. It just feels like a lot of women have lost faith in our bodies' ability to give birth on it's own.

Exactly, Sadly people get mad when they are attacked but then turn around and attack others. For no good reason. I get the car seat nazis a lot. lol I just laugh and be like what does it matter to you what I do?

Or they hear their doctor say their baby is to big. REALLY?! My god ultrasounds are NOT accurate, and FYI due dates are estimates can be wrong up to 4 weeks either way! I had 9+ lb babies and they were easy. I pushed twice with my first, second 1 time and third fell out! No I do not have super vagina. Bigger babies are easier.

Yeah, it's definitely tiring, but I like it, because it keeps me moving, and they say more exercise during your pregnancy less chance of a hard labor. And they're understanding. Like I don't change trash, I don't lift boxes of fries, or bens of ice. They don't like the fact when I bend down, and sometimes it's funny because it's like yes, I'm pregnant but I can still do it. They told me if I ever feel like I need to sit just to let them know, and they'll let me take a quick break. But I try not to just because that's the type of person I am. Of course the average hrs they schedule me a day is 4. Today, I worked 7. But tomorrow I'm scheduled 3, but I'm going in 2 hrs early, and I might stay late because of my ride situation, which is more money for me, and I'm fine with that. But I like that they don't over work me either. Like they did at Burger King, I was working 45 hrs a week, and they were dicks, like I told my manager that I couldn't lift the ice into the machine and she asked why, I told her because I'm pregnant... She said so? I said so, I'll get a doctors note if I have too (and that kind of lifting is critical in your 1st trimester) My manager there was also a bitch, and hated me.

Lol yes. Sorry I tend to get very overworked on this particular topic because it's something I have to get into with someone nearly every single day, but yes everyone has their own opinion and I respect that. Just like politics and everything else in the world. It's what makes the world go round, those personal opinions.

That's awesome they look out for you so much! Annnnd I probably would've slapped that lady that told you "so?" That's ridiculous! Had she never been pregnant before? Lol I've found that my managers (all men) that have wives that have been pregnant are a lot more understanding and look out for me more lol

Yeah it's awesome, and yes, she had like 5 kids. She was like in her 40's. She just really hated me... She threatened to fire me one day (before I found out I was pregnant) and I told her to go ahead and do it. But she never did. And yeah, the guy managers at my work at first were like "uhh you're pregnant, what do I tell you do and not have you do?" type thing, it was funny. My baby daddy works construction, so all guys. And they all know me. And the ones that have wives, or kids know exactly what he's going through. It's quite funny to here my boyfriend come home with some stories about pregnancy. Like his coworkers all bought a bouncer we picked out (on our registry for our baby shower) and my boyfriend told the guys at work "oh this will completely make her day, thanks guys" and of course it did, because it was like a $80 bouncer. I was super happy.

Hi Ashley! I'm Allie! And that's such a pretty name. Madelyn was on my baby name list! Now it's better Emilia Dawn and Bethany Emilia.

Hi, I'm Stephanie. I haven't been on in awhile... but I wanted to say. Amber and Honda450, I completely agree with you guys on everything you were talking about! I'm so over hospitals & their policies after all the crap I went through with my 1st, leading to pitocin and then a c-section! Now I'm much more informed & less naive. I've done plenty of personal research, because I'm not just going to take the word of what medical professionals say. I'm planning on having a VBAC home birth with a midwife this time around! I could've had a home birth with my 1st, if I wanted to, but I felt like I would be safer in a hospital.. especially after just having a miscarriage.   Now, though.. I feel much safer and more comfortable about having a home birth instead. I could seriously angrily rant for hours or write a book about unnecessary medical interventions & everything.. but I'll refrain, lol! I have less than 4 weeks to go!.. It doesn't feel like my baby girl could come at anytime, ahhh! We're prepared for her, except that DH just recently got laid off & is looking else ware for work.. He's even talking about going to work with his uncle in Alaska where he'd be making big bucks, but so far away   We can't bear the thought of being away from each other for even more than a few days!!

Wait, how do you only have 3 weeks left?.. On here it says your due date is Nov. 22?... I've got a little over 3 weeks left too   Get to stop taking my herbal medicine for early labor soon too, lol! I've been having contractions since I've been 4 months along & they've just gradually gotten worse!
