Funny moment.

I went for a run this morning at the local park. There was a man working across the street, who looked pretty adorable from far away.
Anyway, he flagged me down and said: "For a girl with meat on your bones, you run like a champ. Wanna grab a coffee when you're through?"

I just politely told him I was married, but thanked him for the offer.

I thought it was kind of insulting, but more hilarious than anything.

It was probably supposed to be a backhanded compliment. I had an ex that did it. He said it is supposed to lower your self esteem without being rude, so you feel ugly and will go out with him

I wouldn't have gone out with him even if I wasn't married. Any man whose first words to me is something about my weight, is just not worth my time.

Right? It makes no sense. But according to my ex, it really works on some girls. He didn't start that smurf with me until we started having problems, and I tell you it did NOT help.
