Umbilical Cord question

Okay so my lil ones umbilical cord is hanging off a piece of gooey skin.. it looks like I cant just take it off (not going to though).. Should I just keep cleaning it and wait??

Keep using the alcohol wipes and cleaning it. It will fall off really soon now.

Im using alcohol and q-tips and cleaning around (like you would using wipes) or should I still use wipes? Im scared I might tear it off if I wipe it though lol

I just patted lightly with the wipes. It will probably fall off in the next day or two. My dds fell off and rolled in her diaper and I was like " oh my god what is that!" Lol then I realized the "dangler" wasn't there anymore. Lol
