Is anyone interested in receiving daily countdown information about your pregnancy to your mobile phone, i.e. something in the form of "160 days left! A short but fun factoid about your pregnancy and developing baby, limited to about 160 characters that is about as long as this bit of information".

The caveat is telephone companies won't let us send out SMS messages for free, so we would need to charge a small fee per message to cover costs. You could unsubscribe using your phone at any time, so there wouldn't be a risk of getting charged for messages you didn't want to get anymore.

God no! I hate recieving stuff texted to my phone. I'd get texted in a meeting so I'll go out to excuse myself in case it's important and it's "You might loose your mucus plug today" LMAO!!! No thatnks!! Plus different countries different time zones. Sending it out at midday over there could be somebodies 2am... I'd be shitty. I already hate the amount of emails I was getting from BG so I've edited my profile to not send me anything but my weekly update...
And getting charged for info you could get free online seems a bit crazy but I guess some people are more frivilous with their money LOL I'm a tight arse

I agree!! Im not pregnant anymore, but I always would read online about what was going on in my tummy! But I wouldn't pay for it. I pay 15 cents a text that is enough!

What if the messages were tailored more to significant others in your life who might not keep as actively up-to-date with your development (e.g. the father-to-be/grandparents-to-be etc.). Even though they are excited about your pregnancy, they might not be as proactive in learning about what you're going through, so a service like this could help them prepare for the big day.
