Custody question...

Douche smurf moved to a different city. I filed custody papers when he was still at our old apt and he got those. however, now I have to serve him the "failure to respond" paper work and I don't know where he is living... what do I do? Does anyone know the proper court procedures? I need to do this ASAP because he's making tons of decisions that would be horrible for my daughter to be around.

He has a facebook... I'm blocked.. not that I EVER tried to contact him on it... psycho. And he doesn't ever see DD.... he is living in a different city an hour away so I can't stake out anything.... I don't think child support can tell me where he works, but I think they don't know anyway.... He may be working under the table because they said their system doesn't show employment... OOOORRRRR he's a lying sac of smurf which would be nothing new. Either way... I don't know how I could find where he lives... And I'm SOOOOO sick of wasting my time at the court house... I want to know if it's a possibility...

I know that if you don't know where they live, you can serve them in a public announcement (lol) or show three failed attempts to serve... but that is just my vague recollection and may not apply to custody.... family law is very different.

I think for custody they have to serve him in person, we had to get SOs ex served when she was at the courthouse for court because we couldnt find her address. She was pissed. It took cs 3-4 years to serve my ex in another state because he lived with his grandma & worken under the table.

i was going to suggest having a girl send him a friend request on fb then you might be able to track him down. He doesnt have to be served at home it could be anywhere. Maybe contact the courts & see if you can serve him by sending a certified letter to his old addrss. the post office wont give out address change info but theyll forward the letter

They told me I had to serve him by mail... that's what screwed everything up. He has zero friends and knows all of mine, so unless I meet a new slutty girl, there's no chance of that happneing... he deleted anyone I WAS friends with except my stupid whore EX friend who he's been trying to get at forever.... He thought my friends were spying on him because I know so much... but it's A) because I just KNOW him.. and B) I'm intuitive plus C) he lies so damn much he can't cover his tracks

we had to serve her in person so thats weird. send it to his old addtess he most likely has him mail forwarded to his new address. Then if he sends it back it should have the yellow tag that has his new address. Its worth a try

I'm just doing my best to not go overboard. However, he is a stupidly irresponsible excuse for human life.... I know he will not put in effort to have his mail forwarded... he didn't even get the last child support service I sent and he missed his court date, so THE smurfS in court told me to reschedule... and the timeline they gave me was not even physically possible... :-/

yeah but if theyre trying to avoid you then sometimes you have to get sneaky or downright shady. I had to go on my daughters fb to get his info & i felt bad but enough is enough. Hopefully you can track him down, does he have a cs order and does he pay it. They will be able to tell you when he starts working again. my ex owes 26,000 in back pay & has been running for years but it will catch up with him sooner or later

I told them he was working again, they said they didn't have that info yet and "let's give him a chance"... ARE YOU SmUrfING KIDDING ME?! Anyyywaayyy.... I do agree with you. With my son's dad, child support was MAJORLY not doing their job.... Like I said, I am intuitive.. I read people so well it's crazy... so I picked up a phone book and started dialing tired shops in the city I live in... population around 600,000.... the SECOND one I found him. I was so shocked. lol I'm a fighter... my problem is not knowing when to stop.... that's why i don't want to go overboard... I really don't need to give him any amo.... he has nothing on me aside form the fact I text him when I start feeling down (I suck.... but it's the least I could do)... so I don't want to give him amo....he MAJORLY rushed into this relationship he is in... if by some force of god she actually sticks around, I don't need him to have any more bad things to tell her about me .... I'm sure he's lied his way into her home already. he already cheated on her.... it's ridiculous.... ANYWAY....

If you don't want to go overboard hire a pi or when your daughter visits his mom stalk out the place and wait for him to show up and serve him
