I'm so excited to go! I've been once but saw NOTHING beside the colleges there. So, I honestly don't know what I'm getting myself into. My SO's entire family lives in the Bronx. So, I know I'm fairly close to Manhattan and all that. I wanna see all the tourist crap when I go lol

Any must-sees you wanna recommend?

Statue of Liberty, Empire state building, site of the WTC for touristy stuff. IDK if the BX zoo will be open but that's cool for kids....oh and I forgot Central Park.

There's a ton to do in NY, you can't get it all done in one trip.

That's true. We're mostly going so our DD can meet the rest of his family and stuff. But, I know we'll get a few days so he can show me around. Maybe we should prolong the trip as much as possible lol.

gotta take the boat ride to see the statue of liberty i used to work there! ummm central park is my fav place in the whole world honestly... anywhere in the city is awesome

Oh I believe it. You could rent like 3 apartments here for the price of one in NYC. It is insane how expensive rent and the cost of living is NY.

Yeah, transportation is a big plus. I don't drive so NYC is the perfect place for me to live. I love the subways there, everything is very easily accessible.

Central Park is a MUST for me, same with the Statue of Liberty. My SO is always making fun of the Statue of Liberty. He says it always smells like piss   lol

lmfao maybe a while back but they're so anal now i've never seen it dirty!


i miss the subways a lot too just so easy to get around. but the country life was made for me lol just need to finish learning to drive
