I haven't done a contest in a while, so bear with me.

RULES :

3. Write a brief description why you love being a single mama.

Adria and I. She was 3 at the time.

I love being a single mom because, even though it's the hardest thing I will ever do, it's the most rewarding. I am solely responsible for the funny, outgoing, energetic, polite, loving, fantastic person she is today. Even if I feel like I suck at other aspects in my life, I look at her and know I am doing an awesome job being her mom. And I'm doing it all by myself.

I love being a single mom, because, well, as frustrating as it can be at times, nothing makes you feel better than having your kids walk up and put their hands on your cheeks and hearing them say, "I love you mama!"

Sure, I share a title with a guy who lives in my house. But I still do 99 percent of the work. It's all good. ;)
