I work normal business hours. I'm gone from 5 in the morning until 6 or 6:30 pm.

Actually.... They dont investigate EVERY call. They only investigate the calls where its been called in by a police officer or if the caller says they have witnessed the abuse or neglect. A neighbor we had was heard hitting and screaming at his kids... Day after day. I was sick of it. The boy told me that he got hit and they had no food and there were drugs in the house. He was 7. I called and the lady told me that if i didnt see those things with my own eyes then they couldnt investigate. And they didnt.

I dint think they're allowed to give out info on the people who call, and he might be reporting anonymously.

I went through the same crap with my ex and after a few times of coming out and finding nothing (as usual) they just called me from then on. I finally had to get an attorney who filed charges on him and then the judge forced CPS to file criminal false reporting charges on him.

Well at least it will stop then...but until then...he is a piece of work. Let us know what info you get when you see the worker again. Soon you will be able to give advice to others on how to deal with this type of stuff!

They will here. I have called CPS in a similar situation and they intervened.

I don't particularly mind it since I have nothing to hide, but I can not take time off work for this bullsmurf if it's going to be a recurring thing.

I talked to the caseworker and the charges are nothing specific, just "neglect". But I talked to BD's mom and BD has CPS charges for neglect and drug use so he obviously didn't call on himself. We all think it was his father. I will talk to her about stopping the repeated reports at our meeting on thurs.
