re: First birthday, no DH?

I know I'll have to do something. DD talks about it every day. & I'm sure I'll make it through the day if DH isn't home, but thinking "Okay.. I'll just tackle this on my own with Anna" sends me into a mini panic attack. The thought of taking her somewhere on my own to set off balloons, and breaking down, by myself.. gah.

I know what you mean. I can't imagine having to to go through this. I wish I was more helpful or better with words.

How old is your LO? Hayden is 4 and caught me having a sad moment by myself the other day & he just gave me the biggest hug EVER and told me he loved me. Don't worry too much about what you would do in every situation and try to just have a nice peaceful day for your angel <3. I will be thinking of you I can't imagine how to deal with all that you are. I hope some of my advice helped *hugs*

& Thank you. I don't think I would be nearly this panicky if I had known earlier that I may have to tackle this on my own. It's all hitting me at once and it's hard to just breathe through it.

You sound a lot like me hating the unknown.. If you could have planned more you would be able to breathe through it easier ! I will be at work all week if you need to vent or anything feel free to pm me! I may not know what your going through but always will try to help!

love the balloon idea your going to send them to heaven i assume? maybe your DD can send her a birthday card too! twe used to write letters and attach them to the balloon. can't imagine how hard it's been for you this year, and knowing that it doesn't get easier, it just turns numb for a while until something like a birthday or holiday/ family occasion comes up. I hope she has a wonderful view from heaven to see how much she is truely loved and missed. and i hope you can find just enough courage to get through the day with out him, sorry it has to be like that. but i can tell you your doing better and more then you give yourself credit for, no body knows till they walk in your shoes, but i don't think i could fix up an inch of the strength you have to get threw life on a daily basis. your one tough mama bear!

We aren't religious, so we just say that Mya grew wings and lives in the clouds now. But yes, we'd be sending the balloons to her. I thought about writing notes and putting them in each balloon. And I really like the card idea - I think DD would enjoy making a birthday card for her sister. Thank you!
