I finally have a baby i can BF

Every time i feed my son it either makes me cry or i almost cry. I missed doing this bonding with most of my kids and it makes me so happy I can do it! Never thought BF can be so darn emotional! He is only 4-5 days old now, but i love it   More so when my milk came in the night i had him i was thrilled and the Drs were saying no its not your milk, its too early. I had to pump to show them i was not going crazy. He is eating a good 2-3 oz a feeding it looks like. I pumped yesterday to see how much i am really making. i got 2 1/2 oz. Is that good or bad or too much for him? I am always worried i am over feeding him!

Feed on demand and never worry about whether you are overfeeding, so long as your child is growing well. He'll stop eating when he isn't hungry anymore. It's really just that simple. RELAX and congrats!

feed baby on demand. If baby is hungry feed baby. Baby knows and will tell your body what baby wants. so nurse nurse nurse!

2 1/2 ounces is loads, I can still only get that out and DS is 13 weeks, pumping is no indication at all of your supply, your body will make exactly what your baby needs. I can only pump a small amount but I know DS is doing well as he is putting on weight perfectly and is happy and content after feeds  
Like the other momma's said, just feed him on demand, even when if it feels like he just ate or he's eating non-stop, it's just little tricks they use to build your supply
