Fleas.

Can someone please tell me, how a cat can have fleas, and they have never been outside? I was just sitting here, and one popped on my arm. So, i immediately grabbed Miley (my cat) and started checking her, (which is very hard, considering she has thick fur) and i saw one crawling... Ewww!! I hate the thought of any kind of bug being on her, and or getting on us... What is something I can do to get rid of them, and quick? My SIL gets a water bottle & puts half water & half vinegar in it and that's how she kills them off her cat. But, i really don't want to smell that smell... Anything else??

Vinegar smell only lasts very shortly. It's by far the easiest and safest for your cat. Also, fleas grab onto pant legs and shoes and hitch rides inside.

You can attempt to give her a bath in dawn. Then dip a flea comb in some vaseline and go through her fur and put whatever you get in a bowl of dawn and warm water.

Or...there is a pill you can buy from the vet. It just came out, I forgot the name of it, but it will kill all the fleas and eggs.

Well, since i can't get anything else until this weekend, i guess i could try this.. I love my cat, and i think of her like my own child haha, i freaked out when i saw them in her fur.. And, she was sick earlier today, i was literally in tears.. I get too attached.

I will try this also, thank you!! I'd rather try to just get them off her myself. I don't know if i could trust the pill.

Comfortis is what my dogs take, idk if they have a cat version

This!! Dawn works amazing!! We gave our dog a dawn bath and the fleas were literally jumping off and running to his face. It kills them instantly!

my cat had fleas..we had to bath her in flea shampoo and get an exterminator to bomb the house.
