chubby toddlers

So my DS just turned 1 and I've been looking around for some pants for him since the weather is getting chillier, is that even a word? Lol
Anyways the thing is he's chubby and he can't really wear denim jeans since they'll dig in. So any recomendations of places I can get some comfy pants for him

I bought LO sweatpants from The Childrens place, we love them so much he's re-wearing em this year! haha

Ones w/ an adjustable waistband.

We get the boys' pants from h&m or old navy.
My oldest is opposite..tall & skinny & my youngest is short & stocky. Lol

Old navy has loose fit jeans.

My daughter only wears leggings lol. Or jeans with the adjustable/elastic waist.

Gymboree seems to be a chunkier cut.

ds has a buda belly and the only jeans that ever fit him really well without being to tight are gymboree and some childrens place styles
